1. Professional EditionThe O3Spaces Workplace Professional Edition is our entry level, fully supported Workplace edition intended for production use, based on an 'on premises' server deployment. As desired, the O3Spaces Workplace Professional Edition can also be used with secure Internet access, providing access to your mobile workforce, or distributed offices.
The O3Spaces Workplace Professional Edition software:
- Contains several product modules such as:
- Bulk import tools
- Repository search functionality from the Workplace Assistant
- Is available on a number of production databases:
- PostreSQL
- MS SQL Server
- MySQL & Oracle conversions possible on request
- Is certified and supported on several prevalent operating systems:
- Various Linux based systems (a.o. RHES, SLES, Xandros Server, Mandriva, Ubuntu Server)
- Solaris 10
- Windows Server (2000, 2003)
- Mac OS X

Professional Edition Subscription model The O3Spaces Workplace Professional Edition is licensed on a subscription basis. A Professional Edition subscription is available 'per named user' or 'per socket/cpu' (whichever is more appropriate for your organization's size & use case). Please review the 'pricing' section for pricing & purchasing information.
The standard Professional Edition subscription incorporates:
- End-user license for the Professional Edition Software for an indefinite period of time,
- One year standard subscription service including:
- product updates,
- bug & patch support,
- standard professional support services (customer forum and e-mail support)
Trial Program You can apply for the O3Spaces Workplace Trial Program if you want to:
- Test O3Spaces Workplace in a production setting
- Test O3Spaces Workplace with a large number of users
- Test O3Spaces Workplace Professional Edition features
- Get support during your trial period
In order to apply for the Trial Program, please fill out the application form on your Community Website, or send an e-mail specifying your test environment and other trial requirements to sales@o3spaces.com.

3. On Demand (SaaS) EditionThe O3Spaces Workplace On Demand Edition is a hosted 'Software As A Service' (SAAS) solution. This means that the O3Spaces Workplace application and the data are stored on and run from a hosted server. You only need the small client component (Workplace Assistant) and a web browser to have secure access to all the information on your workspaces over the Internet.
Due to demand vs. capacity restraints, the On Demand edition has limited availability, depending on your geographical location. Expansion over our On Demand coverage is on the way.

4. Community EditionThe O3Spaces Workplace Community Edition is a free-to-use and free of charge edition of the O3Spaces Workplace software. The Community Edition enables teams and workgroups of up to 10 people to collaborate and share their documents.
Not for use in production environments. Database support is limited to the embedded Apache Derby Database. The O3Spaces Workplace Community Edition is delivered 'as is' and without any warranties or support and is not intended for nor particularly suited for use in production environments.

The Community Edition includes:
- Workplace Server software
- Workplace 'Spaces' & 'Studio' user environments
- Workplace Assistant, desktop integration
- Workplace Office suite plug-ins
The O3Spaces Workplace Community Edition is available for download at the O3Spaces Community Center (Windows installer, Mac OS X installer, Linux Deb package, Linux RPM package and an universal Update Kit), without the need for any registration.
